We were the lucky hosts of 126 volunteers last Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday we partnered with REI to present a family day of service. 67 volunteer joined us including volunteers from Rhinegeist, St. Xavier High School, Northern Kentucky University and the University of Cincinnati.

On Sunday we hosted 59 volunteers for our 6 edition of an Interfaith day of service. We hold these service days once or twice a year. Teens from Muslim, Jewish, and Christian faiths come together for a day of working outdoors, service, and dialogue (over pizza).

Our volunteers completed the resurfacing project on our Main Loop Trail, and almost completed rehabilitation on our Ravine Trail. They also weeded our native shrub demonstration garden and started spicebush and pawpaw seeds.
