Living Wild Camp

Learn how to live wildly at this survival skills camp. How do you cook without a stove? How can you shelter from a storm? What can you do when you’re lost in the woods? Answer these questions and more as we spend each day exploring and playing in our wild spaces here at Imago.

Natural Cincinnati

6/11 – 6/15; 9:00 – 3:30
Ages 6-12

Whether you’re a Cincinnati native or not, come and find out what our area of Ohio has in store. Campers will find out about and look for animal and plant natives, as well as looking at some invasive species and what we can do to curb their growth. There will also be some Cincinnati history to go along with our explorations.

Adventure Camp

Let the adventures begin! The ever popular Adventure Camp returns once again with a week full of amazing outdoor experiences. Each day is a new adventure as we hop in the camp van to discover natural areas. Campers hike, kayak, camp and learn outdoor skills.

Thursday night is an overnight – we will camp at a state park and return Friday at 4:00 for pick up.

Enchanting Nature Camp

Become enchanted with nature as we explore the garden and the naturescape at Pleasant Ridge Montessori (PRM). We’ll tell stories and build fairy homes, looking for magic at PRM. Every camp day is filled with all the activities that young ones love; hikes, games, crafts, songs, stories, and friends.

Makers in Nature

Imago camp at Pleasant Ridge Montessori like never before. Each day, campers will be able to create their very own eco-friendly projects including ice cream, art, and even soap. They will also spend time every day playing and exploring in the school grounds while searching for animals, plants and other natural discoveries.

Adventure Camp with PRM

Adventure camp sets out to find nature in the city. We use the van to look for and learn about nature that is right in our backyard. Adventures include kayaking, hiking, and some well deserved ice cream. Starting and ending at PRM, we will explore a new spot each day.

*There is no overnight for this camp.

Chordata Classes Camp

6/25 – 6/29; 9:00 – 3:30
Ages 6-12

Explore a different Chordata Class each day of the week. What is a Chordata? This is the animal phylum, or group, that fish, mammals, birds, amphibians, and reptiles belong to. We’ll live a day in the life of each of these classes, figuring out how they live in Cincinnati and looking for them around Imago.

The Giving Camp

7/9-7/13; 9:00 – 3:30
Ages 6-12
Cost: You decide!

Each person has a talent or a gift to give. Pay for this camp with whatever gift you can. Whether that’s your time as a volunteer, your talent as a musician/artist, or the money you have. We’ll take it! This experimental camp will allow parents and campers to bring their own talents to camp, while we spend time each day giving back to the community, the Earth, and ourselves.

Adventure Camp: Extreme Expedition

7/16 – 7/20;
9:00 – 4:00 on Monday and Friday, Overnights Tuesday – Thursday

Let the adventures begin! Like our traditional Adventure Camp, campers will have new, fun experiences all week long. But this time, Adventure Camp will be going further than it’s ever gone before. We will use Monday as an orientation day here at Imago, then Tuesday through Friday we will go to southern Indiana to hike, camp, and more. Campers will learn about themselves and nature during our trips to the Red Wolf Sanctuary, Clifty Falls State Park, The Charles C. Deam Wilderness, and the underground river at Bluespring Caverns.

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights are overnight – we will camp at Charles C. Deam Wilderness and return Friday at 4:00 for pick up.

Water World

7/30 – 8/3
9:00 – 3:30
Ages 6-12
$170

The end of summer is hot! Spend it at Imago playing and studying water. Campers will explore plant and animal life in the pond, use water in artistic ways, and learn about how drinking water makes its way to our taps. Bathing suits required on this camp, as we plan to get wet throughout the week!
