Free Yoga + Mindful Walk (donations graciously accepted)
Spend a mindful morning at Imago with Stacey and Brenda from Let’s Get Physical! Please wear a mask and bring your yoga mat. We will ask participants to maintain social distance and masks up off our mats! Feel free to attend one or both of the morning’s events. Please fill out this waiver before attending.
Yoga with Stacey | 10-11am
The morning will begin with an outdoor beginner yoga flow class with Stacey. Don’t forget to bring a mat! Make sure to dress for the weather and bring a mat, your mask, and a water bottle! Please fill out a waiver before attending.
Mindful Walk with Brenda | 11:15am-12:15pm
Taking a Mindful Walk in Nature with Brenda might be a new experience for you, so here’s what to expect. Brenda will start the walk with a brief explanation and then begin to lead participants to start relaxing and connecting with the earth. The walk will be done in silence with special attention to the natural world as experienced through the five senses. We will be socially distant, and everyone can go at their own pace and go as far as they want and even encouraged to stop and journal, sketch or take pictures along the way. So wear comfortable hiking footwear and long pants and feel free to bring a hiking stick, journal, sketchbook or camera if you’d like. At the end, we’ll have time to share our experiences if desired. Among the benefits you might experience include a deeper appreciation and connection with nature, decreased stress, heightened present moment awareness, and a greater sense of peace.
