Imago’s Family Programs were born out of a desire to provide engaging and unique experiences families could enjoy together. We welcome you to take advantage of our beautiful nature preserve and enjoy time learning about different outdoor skills. Our knowledgeable naturalists are able to provide curated outdoor experiences that will cater to your family’s interests and curiosities. Whether it’s a morning of bird watching or an afternoon of creating wilderness survival worthy shelters, your family is bound to create lasting memories of time spent together in nature.

There are several different Family Program experiences available that provide a wide range of outdoor experiences and each program is customizable to reflect your family’s specific interests.

Our fire building program focuses on learning what is needed to make a fire and exploring fun, safe, and interesting ways to build, light, and maintain campfires.

The shelter building program dives into wilderness survival and focuses on learning how to design and build effective survival shelters.
The natural history program can focus on one of two areas- plant identification or bird identification. It is built around learning how to use tools to identify plants and animals around us and putting those skills into practice while exploring Imago’s nature preserve.

Imago’s Family Programs are perfect for any group looking to spend fun and meaningful time together outdoors. Visit the Family Programs webpage to learn more and sign up to reserve your spot today!
